LaGardo Tackett Nuts to You porcelain nut set showcases iconic Mid-Century Modern design, likely produced by Schmid International around 1960. This rare ensemble features a teardrop-shaped serving vessel with a wide aperture, accompanied by a matching long-handled bamboo and porcelain ladle and three individual pedestal dishes. Each piece is finished in a sophisticated speckled oatmeal or sand-colored glaze that highlights the organic, sculptural forms typical of Tackett's work. The original "Tackett Japan Schmid" squirrel labels remain intact on the underside of the pieces, marking this as a genuine collector's find for enthusiasts of 1960s Japanese-made porcelain and modernist kitchenware.
