How to Spot Fake "New" Cards:Don't be fooled by sellers claiming their cards are new. Here's what to look for:
- Magnetic strip scratches— Every card that's been swiped has horizontal scratches running the full length of the strip. No exceptions.
- Fingerprints and skin oils— Handling leaves smudging that's hard to fully remove.
- Warping or bending— From handling and repeated swiping.
