Genuine high-grade California gold ore — sold by the gram, priced on the gold.
Real gold-bearing ore from a working prospector, $49 per gram. You pick the weight, I hand-select the pieces to match.
What it is: Natural gold-bearing sulfide/quartz ore from California's historic gold belts — chalcopyrite and pyrite mineralization, iron-stained quartz veining, and visible metallic gold in the matrix. Screened under handheld XRF with a strongly anomalous gold signal on tested material. Raw and honest — never polished, never salted.
Read this before you buy — size scales with your order:
• 1–5 g — small concentrated high-grade pieces, pea to thumbnail size. Maximum grade, minimum size.
• 6–25 g — larger hand-selected chunks with more visible gold and character.
• 26–100 g — substantial hand specimens.
Because this ore is dense and high-grade, small orders are small, concentrated pieces — that's the trade for buying grade by the gram. If you want a large display rock, this listing is not it — see my other listings for full display specimens from 1 lb up to 7+ lbs, or message me and tell me the size you're after and I'll select accordingly.
Bonus upside, unpriced: XRF screening also flagged possible platinum-group signals on tested material. That is unverified — fire assay is pending — so this listing is priced on the gold alone. Any PGM content is unproven upside you aren't paying for.
