Hello! Thank you for looking at my antique Halloween postcard for sale!
This antique Halloween postcard from 1912 features a charming illustration of a little girl with a black cat and JOL in an arts and crafts woodblock style. The postcard, by A.M. Davis Co. #658, captures a whimsical scene of Halloween during the early 20th century that was gifted to a little girl. This card would make a delightful addition to any postcard collection or a thoughtful gift for a collector interested in rare Halloween postcards.
Seller notes:
Nice thick paper on this one!
Arts and crafts simplified style...
Big canceled stamp on reverse, traces of a canceled stamp on the front upper left...
Smudges on the left side border.
Puncture wound to area with the words on the front, it sadly does go through to the reverse...
Please see my photos and use them as the description. I point to flaws with a pen in my photos.
This is a rare and hard to find card, even with imperfections, it is still charming. This hard to find card will ship in a soft sleeve, inside a rigid postcard sleeve, with cardboard support, inside a new bubble mailer via usps with tracking.
Things to know before purchasing please:
1. PayPal only.
2. No returns.
3. Shipping to lower 48 US only at this time.
4. I'm not a business. I'm a retired teacher. I sell to downsize and meet my animal's needs. I found a peachy yellow sickly kitten last week and I'm selling cards to fund her spay and medical bills. Our spay neuter clinic closed and the street cat population is unfortunately exploding.
5. I ship quickly. I package securely using clean recycled materials when possible. I frequently must buy shipping supplies like tape and shipping pouches. All my items ship with tracking. I do not make money on shipping. Our post office closes early on Saturdays and is not open on Sundays. Weekend purchases usually must ship Mondays.
Have a happy day!!
