Eocene Whale ToothFeatured in this listing is a large tooth of basilosaurus (king lizard). This 17 ton toothed whale was a fearsome looking marine mammal predator. Unusually for a toothed whale, it had very distinctive premolars for chewing as well as conical teeth for grabbing. It was the apex predator of its day, both due to its size and possibly its intelligence like other whales.
