A beautiful vintage Fostoria American three-footed folded serving dish, featuring one of the most recognizable patterns in American elegant glass.Measuring approximately 7.5 inches across at its widest point and 3 inches tall, this distinctive piece has three feet and a dramatic folded tricorn form. The upturned sides create a sculptural bowl shape while beautifully displaying the American pattern’s geometric cube design.Fostoria introduced its iconic American pattern (No. 2056) in 1915. Its deeply geometric cube-like design catches and refracts light beautifully and became one of Fostoria’s longest-running and most collected patterns. This unusual piece has a three-footed base with a folded or tri-corner form, creating an elegant sculptural shape when viewed from the side. The center features the characteristic radiating design surrounded by Fostoria American’s distinctive geometric blocks.Perfect for serving candy, nuts, mints or small appetizers, or use it as a decorative catchall or display piece in a collection of vintage American glass.Details:* Maker: Fostoria Glass Company* Pattern: American / No. 2056* Clear glass* Three-footed design* Folded / tri-corner form* Made in the USA* Vintage Fostoria elegant glassCondition: Very good vintage condition.
