Original found condition - No touch ups, cleaning, new paint etc - All Paint appears original.
Material is unfinished pine and has saw mill blade striation visible on backside.Age is undetermined except for "pretty old".
Condition is exactly as seen - no cracks, rot. insects, repairs - Has mounting bracket on backside and as well there is a screw hole in approx middle that was used to attach to a Michigan bldg.
I found this at a yard sale some time ago in Bay City, MI. It is signage that was attached to a local Mom and Pop smoked fish house that specialized in Lake Trout and Great Lakes fish. The seller was a retired teacher and seemed credible and stated a long local history of the place and they had been there many years prior to closing - For what they were asking for the sign I can't imagine a reason to mislead.
It is a real nice primitive carved wood fish sign.
