Measures - 3 x 2 inches (7.5 x 5 cms) - Unused
The NVA was formed in 1950 and operated under the command of the People\'s Army of Vietnam (PAVN), which was the overall armed forces of North Vietnam. The NVA\'s primary objective was to reunify Vietnam under communist rule by overthrowing the government of South Vietnam.
During the Vietnam War, the NVA conducted large-scale offensives such as the Tet Offensive in 1968 and the Easter Offensive in 1972. These offensives aimed to weaken the South Vietnamese government, challenge U.S. forces, and ultimately achieve victory in the conflict.
Ultimately, the NVA\'s military efforts, combined with the Viet Cong\'s insurgency, played a decisive role in the defeat of the U.S. and its allies in Vietnam. In 1975, North Vietnam achieved its objective of reunifying the country under communist rule, leading to the end of the Vietnam War.
