Here is an original World War II 8 o’clock and elapsed time clock by Elgin are both mounted on a vintage aluminum bracket. Both dials are running and in working order when I shook them both and wound them up a little bit. Please see video. I can’t guarantee that they will work for you, but are working right now and they’ve been running for several minutes at this point. The 8 day clock is faintly stamped on its face “AC US Army, Type 11” I believe. On the back is stamped the order and parts number etc. Please see the 20 second video showing the dials turning. The elapsed time clock is also faintly stamped just above the word “Time” but these old eyes can’t quite make out what it says. The easy to read back plate provides various specifications. As I’m writing this 10 minutes later, the Elapsed Time clock is still running although the two larger arms aren’t moving….And the 8 day clock has stopped running. My dad was a highly decorated P-51 Mustang fighter pilot during WWII and flew for the 8th Army Air Force out of Debden, England and recorded 17 kills and was given a one man parade when he returned home after the war to Ansonia, Connecticut.I imagine he had similar gauges in his plane. During the war he was shot down over France and secreted to Sweden. Each time he hit his machine guns, a camera was activated. We still have the film converted through modern technology and some of the best scenes are blowing trains off the tracks. We also have a large bullet which struck his dog tags which happened during a dogfight over Germany while escorting B-52’s.Shipping $7. Thank you, and thanks Dad!!!!
