This is a fully overhauled early-type dunhill Rollagas in Barley silver, tested and confirmed to ignite. The base is engraved \"US.RE24163 PATENTED\" and \"MADE IN SWITZERLAND\", along with an uncommon \"CIF 6\" stamp. As with early models, there is no dunhill logo plate inside the lid. The hinge and the shape of the burner base also show early-type characteristics.
Condition
Ignition has been confirmed after the overhaul (see the first photo).
Overhaul Details
This lighter has been fully overhauled. The main work performed is as follows:
Disassembly and ultrasonic cleaning: The lighter was taken apart, and dirt and old grease were removed from the internal mechanism. Ultrasonic cleaning was used to clean even the finest parts.
3 new heat-resistant O-rings: These rubber parts tend to harden with age and have been renewed to improve gas-tight sealing.
New gas stopper gasket: This common source of gas leaks has been replaced.
New dedicated gas filter: This part regulates gas flow for a steady flame and has been replaced.
Fluorine-based grease applied: The moving parts have been lubricated for smooth operation.
Fluorine surface coating: A protective coating was applied to the exterior as a finishing touch.
Appearance
As a vintage item, it has some light scratches and minor drop marks. Please zoom in on the photos to check the condition.
The flint is a consumable part and is included as a bonus. Its remaining life cannot be determined, so please expect to replace it.
