Vol 1 alone features a Hellboy story written and drawn by Mike Mignola, which puts it in a different category from your average crossover collection.

Condition — Please Read Before Buying:

Both books have been stored in a smoke-free, climate-controlled collection and show honest shelf wear consistent with being read and shelved.

  • Vol 1 Spine: Square and intact, no creasing
  • Vol 1 Cover: There are stress creases on the lower left area of the front cover where the gloss coating has cracked — visible in photos and the most notable flaw on this set
  • Vol 1 Corners: Bottom corners show bumping and light wear
  • Vol 2 Spine: Square and intact, no creasing
  • Vol 2 Cover: Light wear on the top right back corner with a minor stress crease; otherwise clean and glossy
  • Vol 2 Corners: Light bumping, better overall than Vol 1
  • Pages (both): Not individually inspected but stored flat in a climate-controlled environment with no exposure to moisture, smoke, or humidity

These are solid reader copies of two genuinely scarce books. Priced accordingly.
