🐉 About the Design & Shape: The Kangxi Mallet VaseTheMallet Vase(Yaolingzun) is one of the most celebrated elegant forms introduced during the reign of theKangxi Emperor (1662–1722). Characterized by its tall, slender neck and wide, bell-shaped body, it was originally designed to hold single elegant blossoms for scholars\' desks. The inclusion of the5-clawed dragonholds immense historical significance; historically, five claws were strictly reserved for the Emperor and the highest imperial royalty, symbolizing ultimate authority, strength, and good fortune. Because of the era\'s artistic heights, 20th-century Chinese porcelain artists frequently recreated these esteemed imperial shapes and markings to showcase high-level craftsmanship.Keep in mind the shipping price also covers handling fees, packaging materials & time, not just postage.See our store for thousands of our other items.
