Item Description
Vintage 1994 Danbury Mint "East Chicago Avenue Police Station" Replica
Up for sale/sale is a highly detailed, hand-painted architectural replica of the historic East Chicago Avenue Police Station from the acclaimed Danbury Mint Classic American Police Stations collection.
This piece beautifully captures the famous red-brick Chicago precinct, featuring its signature towering watchtower corner structure, intricate window paning, and distinct architectural details.
Condition Disclosure (Please Read Before offerding):
• The Building: The building itself is in excellent structural condition. The brickwork, roof edges, chimneys, and towers show no chips, cracks, or structural breakage.
• The Base/Flaw: This collectible originally shipped with two miniature black-and-white vintage squad cars permanently affixed to the grey street base. One of the two cars has detached and is completely missing.
• As shown in the close-up listing photo, there are visible circular residue glue marks and small white paint/resin flakes left behind on the sidewalk surface where the second vehicle used to sit. The remaining police car is securely attached.
This makes a fantastic discount or "space filler" display piece for a desk or shelf layout, perfect for law enforcement families, architecture hobbyists, or Chicago history buffs who don't mind the minor base blemish!
Item does not include original styrofoam or box. Will be packed securely in a generic box with heavy layers of bubble wrap to prevent any transit damage.
