This is a Case XX USA pattern # 61265LC Mid Folding Hunter style pocketknife with belt clip made in 2003. This is a factory error knife, the blade number should be 81265LC. Someone at Case installed the wrong numbered blade in this knife. It is inconceivable that someone replaced the blade in this knife after it came from the factory. It measures 4" closed and has beautiful mother of pearl handles with no chips or cracks. The front handle has the rare and nice TESTED XX script shield. The blade is unused like new and functions as it should. It is tang stamped CASE XX with 3 dots above and 4 dots below and rear tang stamped USA over 61265LC over SS. It comes with a black clamshell box and sleeve but there is no sticker on the sleeve so I can't be sure it's the original box. A very nice and rare Case XX mid-folding hunter in near mint condition.
