Antique/Vintage Wall-Mount Mail Box with Glass Window & Original LETTERS Graphics
DESCRIPTIONA wonderful antique/vintage wall-mounted metal mail box with a terrific old country-store / general-store look. The box features the original LETTERS graphics in red and black, a curved top, glass viewing window and a simple, nicely aged original finish.This is a particularly attractive piece for vintage advertising, country store, primitive, architectural salvage or Americana displays. At approximately 10½ inches wide and only 3 inches deep, it is compact enough to display easily on a wall while still having plenty of visual presence. It would make a great decorative mail box, message box, display box or simply an unusual piece of vintage store décor.The box has no key, so the lock remains in the open position. The front door nevertheless closes and stays closed. The original glass is present. There is also faint stamped/embossed lettering on the upper portion of the box, visible in the photographs.

CONDITIONVery good original vintage condition with an attractive aged surface.The box retains its original finish and original red-and-black LETTERS graphics, with considerable surface aging, discoloration, scuffs, scratches and general signs of age throughout. The glass viewing window is present. The metal has the expected bumps, bends, surface marks and wear associated with an older piece.There is no key. The lock is therefore left in the open position, but the front door does close and remains closed when the box is upright.Please study all photographs carefully.
