Beautiful original late-Victorian photograph album, dating from approximately 1885–1905, featuring a richly illustrated chromolithograph front cover, burgundy velvet back, and an ornate brass clasp. The album contains multiple original studio photographs, including portraits of men, women, and children—likely cabinet cards and carte-de-visite formats.
This is a wonderful decorative example of a 19th-century family album, complete with gold-gilt page edges, floral lithographed interior pages, and classic Victorian romantic motifs.
