We are in the home stretch of the liquidation of my MIL\'s estate. I will do my very best to describe each item I list. But please realize that these items did not belong to me and I have very limited knowledge concerning them. Look at the photos and PLEASE ask questions.

Up for sale is a genuine antique late-Victorian/Edwardian oval picture frame, dating to circa 1880–1920. Authentic gesso and composition molding over a segmented wood block backing. It features beautiful, intricate classical scroll and floral cartouches, ... some which appear to have some faint gold gilding on them. Beautiful aged antique condition. It features the classic fine vertical stress cracks in the gesso surface that prove its authenticity and age (not a modern plastic reproduction). The structural wood backing and glass are intact.

The print is an early vintage/antique lithograph print of Jean-Baptiste Greuze\'s \"The Broken Vessel\". It was in the frame when we found it in storage so it comes with the frame ... at no extra charge <grin>.

The frame is 15\" high & 11.5\" wide. It would house an 8 X 10 or 9 X 12 photograph easily. Perfect for antique collectors, interior decorators, or anyone looking for a gorgeous period frame for custom artwork. Thank you for considering this item .....
