A rare and unusual late Victorian cabinet card portrait photo, circa 1890s to 1900s.Taken by the prominent studio of John Arthur Draycott (J.A. Draycott).John Arthur Draycott opened his London branch at 207 Oxford Street in 1892.Unlike the rigid, formal poses typical of the Victorian era, this image captures a candid social moment. The reverse is blank and shows minor surface paper loss, indicating removal from a family album. An excellent addition for collectors of Victorian social history, or tobacco and smoking memorabilia. Please see the photographs for a detailed look at the condition.
