Authentic 19th-century Japanese Imari porcelain export plate (Late Edo to Meiji period). This high-value, investment-grade collector's piece showcases flawless structural and decorative details that fully verify its deep historical value and premium market pricing. The face features an incredibly rich, classic palette of underglaze cobalt blue and vibrant overglaze iron-red enamel with intricately detailed panels of asymmetrical floral motifs, elegantly framed by a hand-formed scalloped lobed rim.
The reverse includes traditional hand-painted blue branch motifs and is left completely unmarked, which strictly identifies genuine, early export porcelain of this 145+ year era. Crucially, the raw, unglazed foot ring displays flawless manufacturing hallmarks of age: embedded kiln grit, hand-trimmed wheel lines, and distinct stilt spur marks inside the ring from high-temperature kiln firing.
