Lot includes two antique handwritten letters and a vintage book with “Shelley” stamped in gold on the cover.
One letter is dated November 16, ’87, apparently 1887, and addressed to “Lillie.” The second is dated 1894 and addressed “Dear Sister.” Topics include personal news, family, Sunday school, weather, apples and cider, and everyday life.
Condition: Letters show significant age-related wear, discoloration, spotting, tears, separated folds, edge losses, and extensive old tape repairs. The Shelley book has heavy cover rubbing, worn edges, and deteriorating covering material. Publication date and edition are unverified. Book and letters have not been checked for completeness.
