Extensive fine crazing throughout the glaze, wear/loss to the original decoration and gilding, particularly around the rim and handles, and some age-related discoloration/soil in recessed areas. No chips or cracks observed. Bottom has remnants of a worn red backstamp that is no longer legible, along with a hand-applied number/mark. Please review all photos closely for condition.DescriptionBeautiful antique double-handled porcelain vase featuring hand-painted red/orange poppy flowers with soft green, blue and gold-toned foliage.The vase has an ivory/cream body with a pale green molded neck and two squared handles. Raised diamond and beaded details around the upper portion give it a distinctive Art Nouveau appearance. The floral decoration continues around the vase, with a smaller floral motif on the reverse.Measures approximately 10” tall × 5” wide.The underside retains remnants of an old red maker’s/backstamp, but the mark has worn to the point that the manufacturer cannot be confidently identified. There is also a small hand-applied number/mark on the base.The piece displays considerable age, including overall glaze crazing and wear to the original gilded accents.
