Hello! Thank you for looking at my postcard for sale!
This is an antique Halloween postcard featuring a lady witch with an anthropomorphic yellow full moon, a snarling black cat, and a big orange JOL. It was designed by Samuel Schmucker and published by John Winsch in 1912. The postcard falls under the era of divided back (1907-1915) and is an original, printed (lithograph) piece. With its vintage charm and deco look, this postcard is a perfect addition to any Halloween collection.
This lovely old card will ship in a soft sleeve, within a rigid postcard sleeve, with cardboard support, inside a new bubble mailer. Your purchase will help fund the spay surgery and veterinary care of "Peach", a little pinky yellow colored kitty who was found inside a car engine, sickly, dirty, and flea infested. She has become bossy, demanding pets and attention. Her favorite toy is the pineapple kicker, which she gleefully eviscerates of cotton batting.
Seller notes:
Black ink looking spots on lower left of this card
Some black color removed in witch's skirt
Stamp on reverse, black ink writing on reverse
