Make sure you see my other sales.I am currently selling through several entire/lifetime collections of vintage and antique marbles, thoughtfully grouping and presenting pieces to showcase their individual character and appeal.ANTIQUE GERMAN HANDMADE YELLOW MICA MARBLE — .789”An extraordinary antique German handmade mica marble featuring a rich transparent golden-yellow glass base and a spectacular abundance of suspended, reflective mica. The mica displays a remarkable blizzard-like appearance, with countless shimmering particles and larger reflective flakes appearing throughout the glass. What makes this example especially intriguing is its unusual internal construction.Under strong illumination and backlighting, the mica appears distributed in distinct layers at different depths, producing an exceptional three-dimensional appearance.A separate, darker, ghostlike internal formation is also visible. When examined from multiple angles, this formation appears to curve downward and wrap back upward through the interior, creating what resembles a curled tail or folded glass structure. The marble also exhibits what appears to be a single pontil, suggesting a potentially interesting end-of-cane construction. These observations are especially apparent in the detailed photographs, including the illuminated views.DETAILS• Origin: Antique German handmade
