Description Vintage 1920s French Catholic stole made of red silk on both sides but the front is decorated with gold silk and red cotton threads in a chain stitching style, while the other side is plain. The bottom is finished with a 2 inches long gold fringe and the cross is highlighted with a gold thread stitching in the center.
The gold metallic thread is shiny, while the gold thread mounted on silk is soft and silky.
It measures approximately 83 inches long from one end to the other, laying down flat, and without the fringe.
It is generally well preserved but it does have some area of light wear consistent with age, notably on the reverse edge and the reverse neck line. Payment
