This antique french brass barrel clock would make stunning addition to any collection. It has a tic -tac escapement and incorporates an alarm that rings on the case side. The photos are descriptive of the overall condition. The face is painted and shows signs of wear especially to the numbering around the alarm setting dial. The case and movement are in excellent condition and indication of the clocks quality. The glass is in good condition with no noticeable scratches. The hands are blued with no sign of corrosion. The back cover is inscribed what appears to be the name of the maker or owner together with some dates that the clock was servicedI have researched but not been able to identify the makers mark , but it is believed to be French dating from the end of the 19th century.H 9.5cm
