Lot of three items;
-1 antique post card style photograph of a women in 1911,
-1 antique early 1900\'s leather coin purse, and
-1 section of blue homespun plaid cloth (modern made). For wrapping.
Lovely old 1911 post card style photo of a Ukrainian lady apparent immigrant, who could have owned an old leather coin purse like the one I\'ve included.
The written language on the back is Ukraine and English. Her name was Lana Bulokremimikoy. This name is an interpretation/ translation of the writing on the back of the photo by google. That is what Ai tells me. It could be wrong.
It also says \" This photo was taken by a man named Gopogon Gorkt/Gorky.- In the year of 1911.
Also written is\" Bernices grandmother\'s mother mother.\" Also features some faded pencil writing.
This card photo measures about 4\" X 6\" inches approximately. The card photo has much wear to the edges, as it is over 100 years old. It can be considered fragile. It has been handled a lot since 1911.
The old leather coin purse dates from around that same era. This old leather purse has issues, too. While the leather is supple, it is worn and stained with use and age. It has come apart from the nickel metal clasp. The metal part is old, too, but in good condition. The clasps snap work very nicely.
I believe that a craftsman could reattach the leather to the metal .Possibly be restored. Possibly.
The purse measures about 3-1/2 \" X 4\" inches. Remember now; I found these two items separately, but I put them together as a pair.
These will be wrapped in a section of the homespun plaid cloth that is featured in the background, wrapped in tissue paper and placed in a little fitted box that will be mailed in a poly mailer. See my photos. I take much creative effort in putting items like these together, recreating the old ways of presentation. As it would have been in the early 1900\'s.
