A matching set of three antique solid brass tobacco jars with embossed "TOBACCO" lettering and original screw lids.

Each jar features a finely knurled screw-top lid with its original  sealing insert, designed to help keep tobacco fresh. The brass has developed a lovely aged patina acquired over many years of use.

These would originally have been used for storing loose pipe tobacco and would look fantastic displayed in a tobacconist, gentleman's smoking room, country house, pub, or industrial-style interior.

I am unsure of the maker, but they appear to date from the late Victorian to the early 20th century 1890-1920
