This is a STUNNING piece of Art Nouveau style flatware. The (coated brass ?) metal crafted server features a highly decorated handle with a mermaid motif and an intricate pierced blade. The pattern is American Victorian and its age is unknown.
Designed for serving pie, cake, or pastries, the pierced design allows it to be hung as a decorative piece as well. Would make a wonderful addition to your collection!
