Rare two-piece antique fraternal ceremonial uniform was custom-crafted by The Lilley Co. of Columbus, Ohio, between 1925 and 1931. Likely designed for The Shriners or the Grotto, the outfit features a cropped, open-front jacket made of rich purple silk velvet heavily adorned with swirling gold bullion embroidery on the front, shoulders, and cuffs. It is paired with its original cream twill, high-waisted harem-style trousers, which showcase matching gold scrollwork on the upper thighs, a bold vertical gold racing stripe down the outer legs, a classic buckle-back adjuster, and cinched button-cuffs at the calves. The inside collar bears the original manufacturer's woven label alongside the handwritten name "MARTIN," identifying its original 1920s fraternal owner and stamped 8. Details in pictures.
