Item Description:Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic Antique 1920s Art Deco loose powder compact manufactured by Kerkoff for the popular Djer-Kiss cosmetics line.This pocket or purse compact features a striking hammered silver-tone finish on both sides. The back showcases a detailed Art Deco floral border framing a central, blank cartouche (originally meant for a custom monogram, left beautifully clean). It features a top loop bale, originally designed to hang from a chatelaine, finger ring, or dance chain. The loop is stamped "PAT. APPLIED FOR".Condition Details:Exterior: Beautiful vintage patina with natural aging and tarnish. The clasp shuts tightly, and the hinge is firm and secure.Interior: The original round glass mirror is fully intact with no cracks or chips, though it shows some expected light vintage hazing.Missing Pieces: Please note that the internal mesh powder sifter screen and powder puff are missing.
