Antique 1903 Peerless Combination Can Opener & Knife Sharpener Multi-Tool
Early Multi-Tool: Authentic turn-of-the-century "New Peerless" combination adjustable can opener and knife sharpener.
Patent Markings: Stamped on the slide: PEERLESS PATS. MAR. 31, 1903 (with earlier August 1902 patent date references).
Functionality: Center point acts as an axis pin into tin can tops; adjustable sliding carriage locks in place to cut varying lid circumferences. The flared tail end incorporates a built-in knife/blade sharpener notch and pry lever.
Dimensions: Measures approximately 5-7/8" overall length.
Condition: Clean antique survivor. Smooth cast iron/steel with attractive untouched dark aged patina and honest surface character. Slide mechanism is intact.
Origin: Made in the USA.
