This antique early to mid 19th Century wooden document or keepsake box features a rectangular shape with a brass toggle latch, reminiscent of the Victorian era. Handmade in the United States during the time period of 1800-1849, this original piece is crafted from wood and brass materials with a breadboard style top. This is a very sturdy box with moderate staining on top and a split on the back of the box. Overall good condition. Box measures 13 inches in length, 4 inches in height and 6 1/2 inches in width.
