Own a genuine piece of history with this exquisite antique 1898 Klondike pattern glass dish. Manufactured by A.J. Beatty & Sons / U.S. Glass Company, this line was specifically released to celebrate the visual imagery of the historic 1897 Klondike Gold Rush. The square frame features panels of frosted satin glass (designed to mimic the frozen ice and snow fields of the Yukon territory). These frosted zones are complimented by deep, pressed-cut geometric point bands that are stained in a rich, metallic amber-yellow hue—a direct nod to the veins of raw gold nuggets hidden in the northern mines. Finished with a gently scalloped rim and structured bevels, this compact 4x4x1.75 bowl makes a striking historical statement as a vanity ring tray, tealight salt cellar, or specialized EAPG display piece.Condition:Excellent antique condition! For a piece of late 1890s pressed glassware that is over 125 years old, it has survived beautifully. The piece is completely free of cracks, chips, or cloudiness. The delicate frosted satin finish remains smooth and uniform across all four sides. The amber-yellow staining is vibrant and clean, exhibiting only very minor, natural age-related thinning along the highest points of a few geometric pyramids, typical for authentic Victorian stained glass. The base and scalloped top rim are smooth and flat.
