📌 DESCRIPTION
This oversized 9/11 25th Anniversary challenge coin brings together some of the most recognizable imagery associated with September 11, 2001 in an exceptionally detailed 3.22-inch format. Created by Mack Designs, the coin honors the memory of those lost while recognizing the firefighters, police officers, and other first responders whose actions became permanently connected to the history of that day.
One side depicts the iconic Ground Zero flag-raising scene in deep sculpted relief, backed by an FDNY shield, the 343 Never Forget emblem, and a 25th Anniversary design. Around the outer border are the words “No Day Shall Erase You From the Memory of Time,” the Virgil quotation incorporated into Memorial Hall at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum. Selective red, white, and blue enamel on the American flag provides dramatic contrast against the dark metal finish.
The reverse presents a New York City memorial composition featuring the World Trade Center skyline, Statue of Liberty, NYPD shield, PAPD shield, and twin translucent-blue memorial pillars rising above the cityscape. The September 11, 2001 inscription and 25th Anniversary 9/11 emblem complete a design that connects remembrance, first-responder service, and New York City into one substantial display piece.

🧭 CONDITION & PHOTO NOTES
This oversized 9/11 25th Anniversary coin displays deep 3D relief, sharply defined firefighter and skyline details, vivid blue and flag enamel, and a clean antique-black/gunmetal finish with only light surface marks visible under close inspection.
Its large 3.22-inch format gives the layered figures, skyline, memorial elements, and selective enamel considerably more visual depth than a standard-size challenge coin.
As with most pre-owned collectible challenge coins, light evidence of handling, display, storage, or age may be present. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description and provide the best representation of the exact coin you will receive.
📸 Photos are taken under high-intensity lighting to highlight fine details, sculpting, and finish. This lighting may reveal minor surface characteristics that are often less noticeable during normal display.
🪙 This listing is for one (1) challenge coin only.
❗ Display stands, rulers, calipers, coin holders, and any other photo props shown are for presentation and measurement purposes only and are not included with the purchase.
