There’s Edith feeding the pigeons at St. Mark’s, Elizabeth and her daughter Dorothy beside a peacock in the Warwick Castle Gardens, Louise and Ethel throwing snowballs on a Norwegian glacier, and Dorothy and Louise aboard a boat in the fjords. One gorgeous photograph shows a glacier stream en route to Bergen with a rainbow in the foreground — a detail Louise herself made a point of noting.📸 Many photographs retain handwritten locations, dates, names and/or numbering on the reverse, along with period Kodak photo-paper markings. Please note: The handwritten numbering is not sequential, and photographs from the original travels may no longer be present. This is not represented as a complete numbered series.
