Nice set of four vintage Rycraft cookie/craft stamps, handmade in the USA. Three standard 2" size stamps and one larger 3" stamp. Each has a hand-carved terra cotta design on the bottom and a glazed ceramic handle (two in green glaze, one in creamy white with the original Rycraft gold foil label still attached, and the large one in off-white).
Designs included:Large 3" Tree of Life (stylized tree with fruit/leaves and decorative border — great fall or year-round design)
Snowman (wearing a top hat with holly)
Bunch of Grapes with leaves
Peacock (or exotic bird) on a branch with fruitMeasurements:Large Tree stamp: ≈ 3" diameter on the design face
Other three stamps: ≈ 2" diameter on the design face
All are about 2¼"–2½" tall overallCondition: Very good vintage condition. The terra cotta designs are crisp and clean with good detail. Glazes show light normal wear and a few tiny flea-bite chips on the edges (typical for these and not affecting use). The gold Rycraft label has some wear but is still legible. No major damage.Rycraft stamps have been hand-carved in Idaho since 1968 and are popular with bakers, crafters, and collectors. Use them for beautiful stamped cookies, clay or paper castings, or as brown sugar keepers/softeners (design side down).
Perfect starter set or addition to an existing Rycraft collection — the larger Tree of Life stamp is especially nice.
