2008 - 2009 Mercedes C300 3.0 M272 Engine Motor Block Assembly OEM DOHC COMPLETE

This engine came out of a 2008 W204 C300 RWD Car, but will fit other vehicles. Please verify with your installer to determine if any modificationshave to be made to fit your vehicle.

Installation Check List:
* Determine why the original engine failure occurred and make appropriate repairs.
* Insure this engine is the same application as the one being replaced.
* Exchange the oil pan and pick up tube.
* Inspect and replace gaskets & seals (front seal, rear main seal, valve cover gaskets, oil pan gaskets).
* Install new thermostat & gasket.
* Inspect and replace timing belt if necessary, if your engine has a timing chain it is set and ready for installation.
* Replace water pump.
* Exchange attached accessory items to insure proper fit (mounts, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, distributor, sensors).
* Replace engine oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filters, coolant-antifreeze.
* Drain excess oil and coolant from exhaust system.
* Insure the cooling system is flushed and functioning properly.
* Heat tabs are installed on engine if melted or missing Warranty will be voided.
