This set includes two vintage booklets printed in the U.S. during the Cold War era by the Dept of Defense Office of Civil Defense.
The first is titled "Fallout Protection, What To Know And Do About Nuclear Attack” - 1961.
Second is titled “Personal and Family Survival: Civil Defense Adult Eduction Course Student Manual” - 1966.
These provide information on civil defense measures in the event of a nuclear attack, offering guidance on how to protect oneself and one's family in the aftermath of such an event. They serve as a historical artifact from a time of great tension and uncertainty, offering a glimpse into the concerns and priorities of the U.S. government during that period.
