Up for sale is a rare vintage military commemorative keychain celebrating the U.S. Navy and Lockheed Trident II (D5) Submarine-Launched Ballistic Missile (SLBM) First Outload on March 23, 1990!
This piece was issued internally to military and defense contractor personnel associated with the Lockheed Missiles & Space Company and U.S. Navy Strategic Systems Programs.
Item Details:
Front: Features a raised, dimensional brass Trident emblem medallion set into a brown stitched leather fob.
Back: Engraved/embossed text reading: "TRIDENT II (D5) FIRST OUTLOAD 23 MARCH 1990 U.S. NAVY LOCKHEED".
Material: Genuine dark brown top grain cowhide leather base with heavy brass ring hardware and brass medallion.
Dimensions: Measures right around 3.25 inches in total length including the split key ring (as shown in measurement photo).

Condition: New Old Stock (NOS) in pristine unused condition.
Includes the original protective plastic packaging sleeve.
Beautiful natural brass patina and crisp, unblemished leather stitching/stamping throughout.
