For sale is a great lot of items from the 2nd Presidential Inauguration of Richard M. Nixon & Spiro Agnew in 1973. The lot includes the following:
- Framed invitation to the event - 8\" x 10\" invitation in frame - frame has wear but invitation looks to be in good condition.
- 3x 1973 Inaugural Guide - there are 3 of these - they measure 4.25\" x 6\". At least 2 of them have writing inside, and the paper covers have some fading. 32 pages.
- The Inaugural Book - 1973 1st edition. Dust jacket has some tears and pretty rough edges. The book itself is in nice shape. 96 pages, lots of color pictures.
- 3x plastic cups from event - These feature the Inauguration seal and the date January 20, 1973. 2 of them have cracks all down the sides and on the base and are pretty fragile. The 3rd is intact. I can\'t imagine there are too many of these still around!
- Enameled charm/pendant - made by L.G. Balfour company. It features the Inaugural seal and comes with the original box. Measures about 1\" x 1\". The box had the old 1970\'s foam inside that disintegrates and leaves ugly residue - I was able to clean most of the residue off (and I threw away the foam), butit did corrode the back some. The box has some wear and fading. The box cover has the Inaugural seal, and the words \"Inaugural Ball 1973\".
- 2x Enameled cufflinks - 2 SETS - made by L.G. Balfour company. They feature the Inaugural seal and come with the original boxes. They measure about 1\" x 1\". The boxes had the old 1970\'s foam inside that disintegrates and leaves ugly residue - I was able to clean most of the residue off (and I threw away the foam), but there are some small, corroded spots on the backs. The boxes have some wear and fading. The box covers have the Inaugural seal, and the words \"Inaugural Ball 1973\".
