A very scarce first attempt by JPL to summarize the scientific knowledge of Mars, free from speculations or assumptions.There was never a Volume 2 issued, instead there were revisions made, and in 1972 a revised Mars Scientific Model was publishedThe copy in this listing was owned by Claude M. Michaux, who in 1972 was one of the authors of the revised Issue when it was published.This publication is a a three ring binder and contains 12 different sections with 5 to 30 pages in each section.The shipping weight is appr. 4 pounds, the condition is overall very good and clean.Very scarce, this Scientific Mars Model was never available to the general public.
