This block is correct for68 & early 69 model year only in full size Chevy, Camaro, Nova &Chevelle with 325 or 350 HP. Block is 2 bolt main. Block is stamped with suffixcode IV which is 68 396 / 325 HP Impala with TH400. The block has a 4.195 borewhich is .060 over. The bores look ok but plan on boring it to be safe. Thisblock has been tanked, magnafluxed and shot peened. It checks out good and Iguarantee this to be a good, usable block. These blocks are not growing ontrees anymore.
