Original Vintage 1960s The Spinnaker Restaurant Menu 100 Drive Sausalito Bay Area California.
The Spinnaker was built in 1960 by Bill McDonnell and California state senator Gene McAteer at 100 Spinnaker Drive in Sausalito, on a spit of made ground — bay mud, shells and rock — at a stretch of shoreline known as Shell Beach because local restaurants dumped their oyster shells there. The dining room was set out on piers over San Francisco Bay, the feature it has been known for ever since. It has stayed in the founding family in the decades since this menu, with McDonnell's son Tim running the restaurant.
It measures 12.75" x 10" closed and 20" x 12.75" open
