Offered for sale is this Vintage & Rare R9 1960\"National Open\" Vinyl lunchbox with Correct very Rare Matching Thermos & issued 66 years ago by Landers Frary & Clark - Universal. Lunchbox is in Nr Mint Condition however minor hinge splits all too common to vintage 60+ yr old vinyls are all that keep it being Mint. That said Universal issued a handfull of vinyls for 2 years in 1960-61. To find this lunchbox with the RARE R10 correct matching thermos is what sets this aside as this thermos is near impossible to find let alone in this Mint Condition. Only found in one guide..Aikens Vinyl Lunchbox guide as shown in my last 2 pics. This is a Rare set & i believe it to have possibly been issued in Canada as per the rounded latch design as well as no inside flaps which are both classic Canadian designs. No handle but a carry strap...A Must for the vintage Lunchbox collector that wants Rare & Vintagethis vintage 66 yr old vinyl will display very nicely indeed....
