Selling my extremely rare 1952 or 1953 Marilyn Monroe original photograph taken possibly by photographer Frank Powolny. This session with Frank Powolny was used for 20th Century Fox publicity purposes. Powolny was head photographer at 20th Century Fox for over 40 years. During his tenure as a portrait and set photographer, he shot dozens of famous faces, including Shirley Temple, Betty Grable, Humphrey Bogart and, of course, Marilyn Monroe. Chromogenic or color gelatin silver, size 8x10 inch. Here Marilyn is looking absolutely stunning in a beautiful glamour shot. Produced from the original negative or transparency. From noted photographic preservationists Lester Glassner and Neal Peter’s collection. My best guess is this was produced in the 70’s. In excellent condition.
