Wonderful mid-century group of original U.S. Forest Service / Smokey Bear Junior Forest Ranger paper ephemera dating from the early 1950s era. This lot includes a large assortment of colorful printed items promoting forest fire prevention through the famous Smokey Bear campaign. The main sheets measure approximately 8.5 x 11 inches, with smaller cards and inserts included as shown.
The group appears to include multiple versions of the “Smokey the Bear” song sheet, Junior Forest Ranger pledge cards, membership cards, conservation pledge forms, prevention reminders, and instructional inserts including a “Smokey Bear” neckerchief clasp project sheet. Several pieces reference the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service and state forestry departments. Nice graphic designs throughout with classic red and green spot-color printing.
A particularly appealing survivor lot for collectors of Smokey Bear memorabilia, forestry history, conservation campaigns, scouting-related ephemera, children’s educational material, or 1950s advertising graphics. The assortment presents very well visually and would display beautifully framed or grouped together.
Condition is vintage used with age toning, folds, edge wear, small stains, and handling wear throughout. Some duplicate pieces are present. Please examine photos carefully for exact contents and condition.
