1939 RCA Victor Model K60 Superheterodyne console radio, 6-tube, Art Deco "waterfall" cabinet with fluted columns and chevron-pattern grille cloth. Tuning range covers Standard Broadcast, Police, Aircraft, Amateur, and International Shortwave bands (540–4,000 and 5,800–18,000 KC).
Preset pushbuttons are tuned to a run of classic Los Angeles stations — KMTR, KMPC, KECA, KHJ, KFWB, KNX, and KFAC — a nice piece of local radio history.
Selling AS-IS, UNTESTED — sold for parts or restoration, no guarantee of function. Prewar consoles of this era typically need rewiring/servicing before safe operation.
Condition: One preset button badge is damaged/missing (see photos). Tube ID tag inside shows old water staining (cosmetic only, tag is fully legible). Cabinet shows wear consistent with age — scuffs and finish wear, but structurally solid with no major veneer loss.
LOCAL PICKUP ONLY — large floor console, not suitable for standard shipping. Buyer must arrange pickup or freight.
