Up for sale is a scarce, beautifully preserved 2-piece historic ephemera set from the 60th Annual Encampment of the Grand Army of the Republic (G.A.R.), Department of Pennsylvania. This convention took place in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, from June 6–10, 1926.
By 1926, the ranks of surviving Union Civil War veterans had dwindled significantly, making late-era state encampment items highly poignant and desirable pieces of veterans\' history. This set comes from an older estate collection and includes its original collector\'s identification sleeve.
