Original March 22, 1913 business letter on an elaborate illustrated letterhead of The Gregg Company, Ltd., Hackensack, New Jersey, manufacturers and exporters of standard and narrow gauge plantation cars and railway equipment, portable track, frogs, switches, malleable iron and steel car castings, car forgings and rods, cast steel and chilled gray iron wheels.
The large company heading includes an illustration of the Gregg Company\'s Hackensack works/factory complex. Branch offices are listed in New York City; Honolulu, Hawaii; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Havana, Cuba.
The letter is addressed to Mr. Graham Witschief of Newburgh, New York. It acknowledges receipt of a history of the company\'s business that Witschief had prepared and discusses possible revisions, the attendance of Mr. Dahl at a hearing, and company By Laws, specifically noting that the By Laws do not mention the subject of salary.
