Original 1890 mounted photograph by Providence, Rhode Island photographer P.J. Burrell, showing a large Tudor Revival / Stick-Style waterfront estate with steep gables, half-timbering, multiple chimneys, and a sloping lawn leading toward a body of water.
The mount is clearly imprinted: “P.J. Burrell / 1890 / 357 Westminster St. / Providence R.I.”
Burrell was an active late-19th-century Providence photographer known for documenting coastal Rhode Island architecture, summer estates, and shoreline properties. The architectural style and landscape strongly suggest a Jamestown or Warwick Neck summer home built for a wealthy Providence family during the 1885–1895 period.
Authentic period piece related to family, historyor local heritage - well-suited for historical collections, genealogical /genealogy research, or museum acquisition.Vintage or Antique.
